Prove what's real.

Digitally sign any photo or video the moment you capture it.
Tamper-proof, verifiable by anyone, anywhere.

TrueCapture implements the C2PA open standard — the same cryptographic provenance protocol used by Adobe, Google, Sony, the BBC and Google Pixel. A SHA-256 hash of your media is signed with an ECDSA key at capture time, embedded as a C2PA manifest in the file itself, and the public key is registered on DeDi.global — a decentralised public key directory. Verification is stateless and fully client-side. If a single pixel changes, the signature breaks.

Why this matters

$40 billion

Projected US losses from AI-generated fraud by 2027 — growing at 32% annually as deepfake tools become cheaper and more accessible.

$25 million

Wired in a single fraud — a finance worker transferred funds after a deepfake video call impersonating his CFO and colleagues appeared completely authentic.

Top global risk

The World Economic Forum identified deepfake disinformation as one of the biggest risks to global democracy, with 78 malicious deepfakes tracked across elections in 2024.

How it works

1

Capture

Take a photo, record a video, or go live on screen or camera using the TrueCapture Chrome extension or mobile web app.

2

Sign

Your media is instantly signed with a cryptographic key using the C2PA standard. The signature is embedded in the file itself. Public key registered on DeDi.global.

3

Share

Paste the verify link in your caption or message. Anyone who sees it taps the link for an instant verdict — no app needed.

Every image and video can be traced back to its source. Whether you're a journalist in the field or a public figure making a statement, TrueCapture gives your content a cryptographic signature — proof of who captured it, when, and that it hasn't been altered since.

The verified badge appears when content is checked with the TrueCapture browser extension or verify link.
